IIT-JEE Mock Test, Coming Forth.

It’s time for the candidates to gear up for the IIT-JEE 2013 Mock Test, which is to be held in the 2nd week of January.Mock test for IIT JEE 2013 This test will be conducted for 3 months with the aim to make students aware of theNew JEE Pattern. More than 1.2 million students are expected to appear for this IIT JEE Mock Test. It will be conducted in both Written and Online formats. Candidates should prepare by practicing last year’s All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) mock test papers.
They will also be allowed to make final changes in their IIT-JEE application forms in January 2013Practice papers are available Online , and previous years’ question banks, sample papers and quiz’s can help students get familiar to the Question Paper Pattern.
Exams will be conducted in two parts, namely JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE (advanced) will replace IIT-JEE and will be conducted by the IITs and only the top 1.5% of candidates of JEE (main) merit list will be eligible to sit for the JEE (advanced). Board Exam marks will also be one of the Eligibility Criterion as students will have to be within the 20 percentile of successful candidates in their class 12 board. The merit list for admission  will be prepared by giving 40% weightage to class XII (or Mock Test IIT JEE Preparationequivalent examination) or other qualifying examination marks and 60% to the performance in JEE (main) examination.
The Ministry of Human Resource Development has allowed a second attempt at board exams in 2013 to the students who have already appeared in 2012, to enable them to make it to the 20 percentile eligible to write the Advanced IIT-JEE 2013 test. Earlier, most students concentrated on coaching for the entrance exam and prepared for class XII boards in a way that they scored just minimum eligibility marks. But giving weightage to Board results has encouraged many students who are not exposed to intensive coaching. Now they too stand for agood chance to be on the merit list if they perform well in the Boards.
